“শিক্ষা শান্তি প্রগতি, ছাত্রলীগের মূলনীতি” স্লোগানকে সামনে রেখে আগামী এক বছরের জন্য মানিকগঞ্জের ঘিওর উপজেলা ছাত্রলীগের নতুন কমিটি ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে।
শুক্রবার (১২ ফেব্রুয়ারী) মানিকগঞ্জ জেলা ছাত্রলীগের এক জরুরী সিদ্ধান্ত মোতাবেক ঘিওর উপজেলা ছাত্রলীগের কমিটি মেয়াদ উত্তীর্ণ হওয়ায় বিলুপ্ত করা হয়েছে এবং সেই সাথে ডি এম শুভকে সভাপতি ও হিমেল রহমান তমালকে সাধারণ সম্পাদক করে আগামী এক বছরের জন্য ২৭ সদস্য বিশিষ্ট নতুন কমিটি ঘোষণা করা হয়।
নতুন কমিটিতে সহ-সভাপতি মেহেদী হাসান রনি, আহাদ আলী, আশিকুর রহমান আকাশ, ফাহিম মিয়া, আরিফ রহমান, রিপন খান, সুশান্ত রাজবংশী। যুগ্ম-সম্পাদক মিমুন আহম্মেদ, জয়ন্ত সরকার, শহীদুল ইসলাম রাজ, রমজান মিয়া, নাজমুল শিকদার, পনির খান। সাংগঠনিক সম্পাদক আদিল আহমেদ, আকাশ আহমেদ, মিরাজুল ইসলাম লিখন, সৌরভ মজুমদার, আহসান উল্লাহ রনি, খন্দকার বশিনুর রোহান। প্রচার সম্পাদক রিয়াদ মিয়া, দপ্তর সম্পাদক রাকিব খান, গ্রন্থ ও প্রকাশনা সম্পাদক রাশেদুল ইসলাম রানা, ক্রীড়া সম্পাদক মোঃ তৌকির হোসেন, উপ-ক্রীড়া বিষয়ক সম্পাদক সাইম এস আরিয়ান, ছাত্র বিষয়ক সম্পাদক মনির হোসেন, উপ-ছাত্র বিষয়ক সম্পাদক জাহিদ হোসেন, সহ-সম্পাদক রাজীব হোসেন, মামুদ খান পিয়াস, রফিক খান, সবুজ মিয়া ও সদস্য হৃদয় দাস। এই কমিটি ঘোষণা হওয়ায়, ঘিওর উপজেলার আওতাধীন সকল ইউনিটের নেতৃবৃন্দদের মধ্যে আনন্দ বিরাজ করছে।
জেলা ছাত্রলীগের সভাপতি রাজু আহমেদ বুলবুল বলেন, ঘিওর উপজেলা ছাত্রলীগের পূর্বের কমিটি মেয়াদ উত্তীর্ণ হওয়ায় জননেত্রী শেখ হাসিনার হাতকে শক্তিশালী করার লক্ষ্যে আগামী এক বছরের জন্য ঘিওর উপজেলা ছাত্রলীগের নতুন কমিটি ঘোষণা করা হয়েছে।
